IIT Ropar TIF AWaDH is thrilled to announce the inauguration of its 12th Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) Lab, marking a significant milestone as the first CPS Lab in Uttar Pradesh. Located at IILM University, Greater Noida, this cutting-edge facility is designed to serve as a central hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and CPS technologies. The lab will provide students and researchers with hands-on training and practical experience, fostering advancements in deep-tech applications and research.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Prof. Dr. Taruna Gautam, Vice-Chancellor of IILM University, Prof. Dr. Rajeev Tiwari, Dean of the School of Computer Science and Engineering, and Dr. Lalit Kumar, who emphasized the significance of this collaboration. Dr. Radhika Trikha, CEO of IIT Ropar TIF AWaDH, highlighted the role of the CPS Lab initiative in accelerating next-generation technological innovations, particularly in the field of Cyber-Physical Systems.

- Wireless Connectivity Tools: Featuring a Gateway, BLE Development Kit, and BLE Node, the lab will facilitate real-time, wireless data transmission and communication.

Following the inauguration, DeshRaj Dhiman, Project Manager, along with the technical team, led a guided tour of the lab, showcasing its state-of-the-art facilities. More than 40 teachers and students participated in a training session, highlighting the lab’s potential to transform the educational landscape.
The CPS Lab will offer both ‘train-the-trainers’ and ‘train-the-students’ programs. These initiatives are aimed at equipping students, researchers, and faculty with practical knowledge and experience in the rapidly growing field of Cyber-Physical Systems, thereby ensuring that future innovators are well-prepared to tackle the challenges of tomorrow.
