The Online Winter Design Camp 2025 has been successfully launched as a national-scale design and innovation capacity-building program, organized by the Design Experience Lab (Interdisciplinary Design Experience Lab) at IIT Ropar, with support from iHub – AWaDH @ IIT Ropar and powered by Dassault Systèmes.
The program was officially launched by Prof. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, underscoring its national importance and strong alignment with India’s vision for design-led innovation, advanced manufacturing, and future-ready engineering talent.
Designed as a fully online, evening-based program, the camp enables students across the country to access industry-grade design and simulation tools through a cloud-based platform, requiring only a basic laptop and internet connectivity.

The Online Winter Design Camp 2025 follows a three-phase, merit-based progression framework, ensuring structured learning, practical application, and innovation excellence.
