IIT Ropar Technology and Innovation Foundation (iHub – AWaDH) was glad to participate in VIVIBHA 2024, a three-day national conference organized by Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal (BSM) at SGT University, Gurugram. Centered on the theme “Vision for Viksit Bharat,” the event celebrated India’s cultural heritage while showcasing groundbreaking research and innovations aimed at building a self-reliant and sustainable future.
At the “Research to Realization” exhibition, AWaDH presented cutting-edge technologies addressing critical challenges in agriculture, water management, and environmental conservation. Highlights included Moohsense, an AI-powered livestock management tool; Nanokriti Nanobubble Technologies, a revolutionary water treatment solution using nanotechnology; Soil Health Monitoring System, a precision farming tool empowering farmers with actionable insights; Digital Entomologist, an advanced biodiversity monitoring system; and Air Sense, state-of-the-art air quality sensors. These innovations underscore AWaDH’s commitment to driving sustainable solutions and empowering communities through technology.
AWaDH’s efforts were recognized with the Best Stall Award in the Academia category, reflecting the impact of its transformative technologies and dedication to innovation. The event was further enriched by the presence of Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, who visited the AWaDH stall and commended the showcased solutions. Prof. Rajeev Ahuja, Director, IIT Ropar, also graced the occasion, supporting AWaDH’s mission to advance impactful research and development.
Represented by Pulkit Kumar and Harsh Panwar, the AWaDH team passionately demonstrated the potential of these technologies to empower farmers, conserve resources, and foster sustainability. Their efforts not only highlighted AWaDH’s innovations but also aligned with the broader vision of a #ViksitBharat.
