The PRAGATI Roadshow at Galgotias University, Noida, stood as a pivotal initiative in IIT Ropar, iHub – AWaDH’s continued mission to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement across India. This outreach event served as a vibrant platform for students and aspiring entrepreneurs to engage with industry leaders, gain insights into the startup ecosystem, and explore collaborative opportunities in emerging technology domains.

The event featured a series of impactful sessions, expert talks, and panel discussions designed to ignite the spirit of innovation among young minds. A major highlight was the Knowledge Session led by Dr. Radhika Trikha, Chief Executive Officer, iHub – AWaDH and Dr. Mukesh Kestwal, Chief Innovation Officer at iHub – AWaDH, IIT Ropar, who shared deep insights into emerging technological trends and entrepreneurial pathways. His session focused on critical topics such as Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), startup incubation models, and funding mechanisms, equipping participants with the necessary tools to navigate and thrive in the startup landscape.

Another key feature of the roadshow was the announcement of the upcoming Galgotias Ideathon, an initiative aimed at cultivating innovative ideas and supporting startup-driven problem-solving. The event also hosted several industry experts, mentors, and investors, who engaged with the audience and shared their perspectives on market dynamics, investment strategies, and scaling opportunities for young ventures.

Dr. Mukesh Kestwal also introduced the audience to the UPG Sustainability Leadership Batch 2025, underlining the vital role of sustainability in shaping the future of innovation. He emphasized that integrating sustainability into innovation ecosystems is critical for addressing global challenges in a responsible and impactful manner. The discussions aligned closely with several UN Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
